About the event
First Annual Maternal Health Collective
Join us for the first annual Maternal Health Collective—a listening and gathering session created to strengthen collaboration across our community’s maternal health network. During this session, participants will: Connect and build relationships through introductions Identify and map local doulas, maternal health resources, healthcare providers, and community organizations Discuss how doulas, hospitals, maternal health professionals, and healthcare systems can work together more effectively
Explore opportunities for community advocacy, shared leadership, and collective action
- Reflect on lessons from the recent wildfire and consider how emergencies and disasters affect pregnant people, postpartum families, and maternal health services
We will also welcome CARE as our special guest. CARE will provide a brief presentation on disaster preparedness, offering information and tools to help maternal health professionals better prepare for and respond to emergencies.
