Definition of a Family Navigator: A Family Navigator is a trained guide, often with lived experience, who supports families in accessing services, navigating complex systems, and finding the resources they need. At the Shades of Motherhood Network, our Family Navigators provide culturally competent, community-rooted support to Black and Brown mothers, helping them move through healthcare, mental health, and social service systems with dignity and confidence.

Locked In Fathers Alliance is a Spokane-based community dedicated to empowering fathers, especially Black fathers, through mentorship, educational workshops, and bi-weekly gatherings in a safe, judgment-free space. They cultivate emotional wellness, strengthen bonds of brotherhood, and break generational cycles with vital resources and events that uplift Dads and their families.
