Black Maternal Health Week 2026
The Child Birth Knowledge Exhibit is a community-centered educational experience taking place during Black Maternal Health Week 2026, designed to advance systems change in Black maternal health by centering culturally rooted care, education, and empowerment.
This exhibit provides an interactive and informative space addressing childbirth, perinatal care, postpartum health, and maternal health justice, created in partnership with Providence Health and hosted by Shades of Motherhood Network (SOMN). The experience uplifts grassroots knowledge while bridging community wisdom with institutional systems of care.
